Respected Principal,Teachers and My Dear Friends, Today I am here to speech a few words about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, was a visionary leader who played a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s destiny. His contribution to the Indian freedom struggle and the subsequent nation-building process is immeasurable. Nehru’s commitment to democracy, secularism, and social justice laid the foundation for India’s democratic principles.
He championed education and believed that “Children of today are the citizens of tomorrow,” leading to the establishment of the renowned Indian Institutes of Technology and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. His leadership, along with his love for peace and non-alignment, earned him global recognition.
In commemorating Nehru, we celebrate a statesman whose legacy continues to inspire generations worldwide.
