Reprint Aadhar

            UIDAI also provides this facility if one has lost his original Aadhar card and does not want its downloaded copy and wants to get it back in its original form. Aadhar Reprint option is available for Aadhar cardholders. UIDAI recently tweeted that more than 60 lakh citizens of the country have used the ‘Order Aadhaar Reprint’ facility.
 Aadhaar can be reprinted through the UIDAI website and the Aadhaar app. To apply for Aadhaar reprint, Aadhaar cardholder must have their Aadhaar number. What is special is that even if your mobile number is not registered in Aadhaar, you can reprint Aadhaar. There is an option to take OTP on unregistered mobile number.


The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the organization that recently issued the Aadhaar number, shared information about the Aadhaar reprint service on Twitter. With this new information, if your mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar or changed, you can print Aadhaar again.

      50 will be charged

     Note that Aadhaar reprint will incur a fee of Rs 50 which includes GST and Speed ​​Post charges. The reprinted Aadhar letter will be delivered through speed post to the registered address of the Aadhar cardholder within 15 days
The process of Aadhaar reprint through UIDAI website is as follows

1. First go to the website www.uidai.gov.in.



2. The first tab is MY AADHAR. In it, click on Order Aadhar Reprint option.



3. Then enter your 12 digit Aadhar Card number or 16 digit Virtual Identification Number.


4. After that, enter the security code. A box is created below it, click on it. It says my mobile number is not registered. Enter another number you have.



5. After that, click on SEND OTP and type recieved OTP and complete the verification process.



6. Now, if you want, you can also preview your Aadhar card once. (If mobile number is not registered, you will not be able to preview.)



7. After viewing the Preview, click on the Make Payment option and for Aadhaar reprint, a receipt will be generated after payment via fee debit card, credit card, net banking or upi which you can download in PDF format. You will also receive a service request number via SMS.

8. After that, you will get an Aadhar card in 10-15 days.

9. If you wish, you can track the delivery status of Aadhar card through your SRN number.
