कर्नाटक एनएमएमएस परीक्षा पात्रता निकष –

• सरकारी शाळा,अनुदानित व स्थळीय संस्थेत  इयत्ता आठवी मध्ये  शिक्षण घेत असलेले विद्यार्थी     परीक्षा देण्यास पात्र आहेत. 
• वसती शाळा (उदा: मोरारजी देसाई,कित्तूर राणी चेन्नम्मा,नवोदय शाळा, वाजपेयी शाळा,एकलव्य,KGBV, आंबेडकर निवासी शाळा इ.) तसेच केंद्रीय विद्यालय,सैनिकी शाळांचे विद्यार्थी देखील या परीक्षेसाठी पात्र नाहीत. सरकारी अनुदान प्राप्त करणाऱ्या कोणत्याही खाजगी अनुदानित निवासी शाळांचे विद्यार्थी देखील या परीक्षेसाठी अर्ज करण्यास पात्र नाहीत.
• उमेदवारांचे पालकांचे वार्षिक उत्पन्न 3.5 लाख रुपयांपेक्षा जास्त नसावे.(उत्पन्नाच्या सर्व स्त्रोतांसह).
• विद्यार्थ्याला सातवीमध्ये वर्गात 55% गुण प्राप्त करणे आवश्यक आहे.
• राखीव प्रवर्गातील विद्यार्थ्यांना कमीत कमी 50%  गुण असणे ठेवणे आवश्यक आहे. 

पेपर-1- मानसिक क्षमता चाचणी:- (मानसिक क्षमता चाचणी -MAT)

या पेपरमध्ये 90 बहुपर्यायी प्रश्न असतील.प्रत्येक प्रश्नाला एक गुण याप्रमाणे 90 गुण असतील.या प्रश्नपत्रिकेत विद्यार्थ्यांच्या तर्क,विश्लेषण,संश्लेषण इत्यादी क्षमता मोजता येतील असे प्रश्न असतील.

पेपर-2- Scholastic Aptitude Test -SAT

या पेपरमध्ये 90 गुणांसाठी एकूण ९० बहुपर्यायी प्रश्न असतील. यापैकी 35 प्रश्न विज्ञान (भौतिकशास्त्र, रसायनशास्त्र आणि जीवशास्त्र),35 प्रश्न समाज विज्ञान (इतिहास, भूगोल, राज्यशास्त्र, अर्थशास्त्र, समाजशास्त्र आणि व्यवसाय अभ्यास) आणि 20 प्रश्न गणित विषयाचे असतील.

कर्नाटक एनएमएमएस शिष्यवृत्ती परीक्षेसाठी पात्र असलेले उमेदवार खाली दिलेल्या सूचनांनुसार  अर्ज करु शकतात.

How to Apply & Important Dates

You can submit your application online starting from September 10th, 2025. Just remember to complete it by the final deadline, October 30th, 2025. Don’t miss out!

Are You Eligible?

This scholarship is for the stars of tomorrow! Here’s who can apply:

• You must be a student currently in 8th grade at a government, government-aided, or local body school.
• Your parents’ annual income should be less than ₹3.50 lakh.
• Sorry, but students from residential schools like Navodaya, Morarji Desai, Sainik, and KGBV are not eligible.
• In your 7th-grade exams, you needed to have scored at least 55% if you’re a General or OBC student, or 50% if you’re an SC/ST student.

The Exam Breakdown: Two Exciting Papers!

The NMMS exam is a two-part adventure, and you’ll get to show off both your smarts and your wit!

Paper 1: Mental Ability Test (MAT)

• Questions: 90 multiple-choice questions
• Total Marks: 90
• Time: 90 minutes (CWSN students get an extra 30 minutes!)

Paper 2: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

• Questions: 90 multiple-choice questions
• Total Marks: 90
• Subjects:
  • Science: 35 questions
  • Social Science: 35 questions
  • Mathematics: 20 questions
• Time: 90 minutes (CWSN students get an extra 30 minutes!)

Your Exam Day Schedule

Mark your calendars! Sunday, December 7th, 2025 is the big day.

• Paper 1 (MAT): 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
• Paper 2 (SAT): 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
• (Remember: CWSN students get an extra 30 minutes for each paper!)

What It Takes to Win a Scholarship

To be selected, you’ll need to hit the mark!

• General and OBC students need to score at least 40% combined across both papers.
• SC/ST students need a minimum of 32%.

The final selection will be based on merit and reservation rules, handled by DSERT for each district.

The Prize: A Four-Year Scholarship!

If you get selected, you’re in for a treat! You’ll receive a scholarship of ₹1,000 per month (that’s ₹12,000 per year!) from 9th to 12th grade! The funds will be deposited directly into your bank account through the NSP Portal.

Keep the scholarship rolling by:

• Scoring at least 55% in 9th and 11th grade.
• Getting at least 60% in 10th grade (with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST students).
• Passing each class on your first try!
