RAJMATA JIJAU JAYANTI ENGLISH SPEECH
Honorable Chairperson, respected teachers, and my dear friends, today we have gathered here on the occasion of the birth anniversary of a great mother, an ideal woman, and the architect of Swarajya, Rajmata Jijau.
Rajmata Jijau was born on January 12, 1598, in Sindkhed Raja in the Buldhana district. Her father, Lakhujirao Jadhav, was a valiant Sardar. It was due to Jijau’s upbringing that a warrior like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was shaped.
Jijau was not just Shivaji Maharaj’s mother, but also his guru and guide. She inspired Shivaji Maharaj through the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and other heroic tales. She was the one who instilled the inspiration for the establishment of Swarajya in Shivaji Maharaj.
Under Jijau’s strong guidance, Shivaji Maharaj fought against injustice and oppression and established Swarajya. She taught the importance of respecting women.
Even today, Jijau’s thoughts are very important. The values, ethics, and ideals she gave still guide us. Respecting women, fighting against injustice, and being dedicated to our country, her teachings are still relevant today.
On the occasion of Rajmata Jijau’s birth anniversary, let us remember her work and try to follow her thoughts. Taking inspiration from her, let us build a strong and just society.
