Teachers’ Day Speech in English
Good morning, respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends,
Today, we are here to celebrate Teachers’ Day, a day dedicated to thanking our wonderful teachers for everything they do for us.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on the 5th of September in India. This day is special because it is the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher and the second President of India. He loved teaching and believed that teachers play a very important role in our lives.
Our teachers help us learn new things every day. They teach us how to read, write, and solve problems, but they also teach us how to be kind, work hard, and never give up. They are always there to support us, whether we are in the classroom or need advice in life.
On this day, we want to say a big “Thank You” to all our teachers. Thank you for your patience, your care, and for believing in us. You make learning fun and exciting, and we are lucky to have you.
To my friends, let’s remember to always show respect and appreciation to our teachers, not just today but every day.
Once again, Happy Teachers’ Day to all our amazing teachers!
