Dear Friend Chaitra,

I hope you are doing great! I want to tell you about the fun Children’s Day we had at school.

On Children’s Day, our school was decorated with colorful balloons and ribbons. It looked like a big, bright rainbow! We all wore our favorite clothes and came to school with big smiles.

Our teachers had planned many games for us. We played musical chairs, lemon-and-spoon race, and even a funny sack race where we hopped like bunnies. Everyone was laughing and cheering.

The best part was the magic show! A magician came and did amazing tricks. He pulled a rabbit out of his hat and made flowers appear from nowhere. We all clapped and gasped in surprise.

We also had a drawing competition. I drew a picture of a garden with kids playing. There were prizes for the best drawings, and guess what? I won a prize too!

For lunch, we had delicious sweets and snacks. The jalebis were so yummy, and I wish you were there to taste them with me.

I missed you a lot and wished you could have been there to enjoy with us. Next time, I hope you can come too.

Take care and write back soon!

Your friend,

Chaitanya

Dear Friend Chaitra,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to share the excitement of our recent Children’s Day celebration at school. It was a day filled with laughter, fun, and lots of happy moments.

Our school was transformed into a festive place with balloons, streamers, and posters of famous children’s characters. The whole school seemed to be in a joyful mood, and the air was buzzing with energy.

The celebration started with a speech by our principal, who reminded us of the importance of this day and the rights and education of children. After that, the fun began! We had various games organized by our teachers, like musical chairs, a treasure hunt, and a painting competition. I participated in the painting competition and drew a scene of children playing in a park.

One of the highlights was the cultural program put on by some students. They performed dances, sang songs, and even acted out skits. I was part of a dance performance, and we danced to a popular Bollywood song, which everyone enjoyed.

We also had a special assembly where some of our classmates shared their thoughts on what Children’s Day means to them. It was inspiring to hear different perspectives and stories.

To top it all off, we were treated to delicious snacks and sweets. The school canteen served samosas, jalebis, and fruit juice, which were all a big hit among my friends and me.

It was a memorable day, and I wished you were there to enjoy it with us. I hope you can visit our school for the next Children’s Day celebration. It would be so much fun to have you there!

Take care and write back soon.

Warm regards,

Chaitanya
